Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Brewpin mobile application (the "App") operated by Brewpin ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Brewpin. The App is designed for adults who consume alcohol legally in their jurisdiction. By using the App you represent that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who do not meet this requirement.
2. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information during sign-up and to keep your account details up to date. You may not share your account or allow others to access it.
You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account in the App. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days of account deletion.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Post content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or hateful.
- Post content that infringes any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account or to our systems.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the App.
- Encourage or facilitate alcohol consumption in a manner that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
4. User-generated content
You retain ownership of the content you create (pins, photos, notes). By posting content to Brewpin, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely as necessary to operate the App and provide its features to you and your friends.
We do not endorse user-generated content and are not responsible for it. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
5. Reporting and blocking
You may report content or users that you believe violate these Terms using the in-app report feature. You may also block any user, which prevents them from seeing your content and prevents you from seeing theirs.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
7. Intellectual property
The Brewpin name, logo, and all related marks are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written consent. All other content and software in the App is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $10.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Turkey.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
